What is the composition of Gamme Blanche jewelry?
Our jewels are only made of precious metals, such as vermeil (14K gold plated sterling silver) or 9 & 14 carat gold.
The vermeil range: Our jewels are made of 925 silver (92.5% pure), 14K gold plated sterling silverv where they are covered with a layer of precious metal (3 microns) such as gold (10 or 14 carats) . Our jewels are therefore hypoallergenic.
The gold range: Our gold jewelry is made of 375/1000 (9 carat) or 585/1000 (14 carat) gold.

How do I care for my Gamme Blanche jewelry?
A piece of jewelery worn daily with care only rarely requires care, especially if it is cleaned periodically with delicacy and stored properly.
In order to preserve the shine of your jewelry, it is necessary to avoid contact with water and humidity, as well as with perfume. Perfume, cosmetics, alcohol, chemicals, lemon and other acids as well as salt water and especially chlorine are the enemies of jewelry. It is therefore advisable to wear make-up and perfume before putting on your jewellery.
We recommend that you clean your jewelry when necessary using toothpaste. You can use a soft brush and lukewarm soapy water to remove accumulated deposits (salt water, chlorine, suntan oils). Then rinse them with fresh water and wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.

What should I do to prevent my jewelry from turning black?
Your jewelry may acquire a patina over time, especially for gold-plated silver jewelry; this is completely normal. Furthermore, they can oxidize; this is a normal chemical process. This phenomenon is explained by the reaction of the air with the silver. This causes blackening on the surface of your jewelry. To avoid any oxidation, wipe your jewelery after wearing it and store it in a well-sealed case or in your jewelery box. If black spots appear or if your jewel has lost its luster, clean it as indicated above with toothpaste. It is magic !

Can I have my jewelry re-gilded at Gamme Blanche?
Unfortunately we do not provide this service. On the other hand, you can have them gilded at your own expense, at a goldsmith.

Where are Gamme Blanche jewelry made?
The Gamme Blanche collections are made with passion in our carefully selected workshops in Jaipur, the Indian capital of jewelry, for their know-how recognized worldwide but also for their ethics; no children work there, and each craftsman receives a decent salary and one day off per week.
We also try to reduce our carbon footprint (we optimize our logistics as well as possible, we prefer natural or recyclable packaging to plastic...).
The choice of high quality materials, experienced craftsmen and the extreme care taken in all phases of the manufacture of our jewelry are a priority... The hand of man intervenes at each stage. This is why it is necessary to reduce its impact on the environment.
Each piece of jewelry bears the Gamme Blanche paw: the proportions, the combination of colors, the composition, the balance (especially in the making of earrings) call for expert and a specific technique. The same care is taken at all stages of production; the smallest ring is chosen, each pearl is selected with regard to its size and its reflections.
